The book is divided into two parts. Part One consists of 20 units on essay writing and Part Two (also consisting of 20 units) is devoted to letter writing. There is thus sufficient material on this subject to provide for the first two years of secondary education.
Each unit consists of introductory activities, including a model essay or letter followed by topics for written practice. This simplifies the task of writing for the students. Teachers can use the model essays or letters to introduce the techniques of writing to the students.
