Science in Focus: Physics for GCE 'N' level Practical Workbook has been prepared to help students handle various experimental techniques as specified in the latest GCE 'N' Level Science syllabus. Although no practical examinations are carried out at 'N' Level, the experiments will encourage students in their study of Physics and even motivate some to do physics at 'O' Level standard.
Basically, the practical workbook is in three parts: Activities, Experiments and examination Papers. Each part contributes to the overall training and development of practical skills and confidence. The section on Activities focuses on basic skills like measurements and recoding of experimental data. The Experiments section contains simulated examination papers to test students' level of skill and understanding. Finally, actual past year practical examinations are included in the Examination Papers section to further test students' abilities.
