About the Author

Wolfgang F. Engel is the editor and/or co-author or several books, including Direct3D ShaderX-Vertex and Pixel Shader Tips and Tricks and the first edition of Beginning Direct3D Game Programming. Wolfgang has written several online tutorials for www.gamedev.net, www.direct3d.info, and other Web sites. He has held lectures at GDC 2003 and at Vision Days in Copenhagen. Wolfgang is also a faculty advisor for the Academy of Game Entertainment Technology and a faculty member of the Games Academy (www.gamesacademy.de).
