Dr. Ronald Krutz (Gibsonia, PA) is an independent consultant, formerly Senior Information Security Consultant for Corbett Technologies, and lead instructor for ISC2 for their CISSP training seminars and former professor and founder of the Cybersecurity Center at Carnegie Mellon University. He is distinguished lecturer at the U of New Haven Forensics Program and instructor at U of Pittsburgh. He is the author of Wiley’s suite of CISSP security certification books. He holds CISSP and P.E. (Professional Engineer) in addition to his Ph.D.

Russell Dean Vines (White Plains, NY) is President of The RDV Group, a security services firm and formerly Consulting Manager, Security Services, Realtech Systems. He has designed security architecture for Fortune 1000 companies worldwide and consults regularly for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He is a certified CISSP, CCNA, Security+, MCSE, MCNE, and NSA/IAM and is the author of Wiley’s suite of CISSP security certification books.
