After the death of his wife, Carmen, Dan stops working and drowns himself in the party scenes of Amsterdam and Ibiza. He doesn's spend a single night alone and allows no time for grieving. His friends worry for him and for his three-year-old daughter Luna.
But after hitting rock bottom, Dan must take stock of his life. He decides to take Luna to Australia, and once there they travel across the continent, tentatively establishing a new relationship.
Direct, uncompromising and very funny, The Widower is a beautifully moving story about a father who, with his little daughter, in a camper van on the other side of the world, deals with the tragic death of his young wife.
