The Oxford Storyland Readers series provides lively reading using carefully controlled language at twelve different levels. Each book contains a story and Levels 7 to 12 include a related factual section. Every few pages there are fun puzzles to help reinforce new language and develop reading skills. At the end there are questions to test comprehension. Any new vocabulary is explained by an on the page picture dictionary.
