Clayton meets a ghost, and learns from him the signs that bring the dead back, as ghosts, into the world of the living. But what will happen if Clayton uses the signs himself? Fotheringay has lots of fun when he discovers that he can work miracles, but he goes too far, and almost destroys the earth and everything on it.
