Michael E. Jones, or Judge Jones as he is known to many, is an associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Special Justice at the Salem (NH) District Court. He teaches courses in Spots Law and International Law.
Before joining the faculty at University of Massachusetts Lowell, he taught at the Whittemore School of Business, University of New Hampshire. Judge Jones worked in the sports and entertainment field for many years. He was elected to four terms in the New Hampshire legislature.
Judge Jones has pubished more than twenty-five business and law review articles. These publications have appeared in journals such as the Business Law Review, the Bar Journal, and the Midwest Law Review. He edited a well known book, Current Issues in professional Sports, that was used by many of the leading sports-management and sport-law programs in the country.
