Are You Listening? is a cassette-based book intened for young learners of English who have been studying English for a year or two. It is based on the Principle that pupils are capable of understanding much more English than they are able to produce and that listening is a skill which has to be acquired like any other skill. The texts are therefore more complex structurally than the language which the pupils are expected to use. Are You Listening? consists the of forty-two listening comprehension passages containing aural problem-solving material.
