Business Venture is a two-level speaking and listening course in American and Internal English. It deals with the real-life communication problems that business people face when they have to use a foreign language: talking on the telephone, meeting and entertaining clients, and so on.
Business Venture 2 is designed to bring students from false beginner to pre-intermediate level. Its combination of controlled input and freer practice activities and its emphasis on communicative skills will help students to cope effectively with a range of common business situations. As in the previous level, an important feature of Business Venture 2 is the 'Culture File', the cross cultural discussion that ends each unit. There is also a 'Grammar File' containing explanations of the main language points introduced throughout the course.
Business Venture 2 consists of this book and an accompanying cassette. The cassette was recorded in New York, using the voices of professional people from all over the world.
